Description
Crispy oven-baked pita chips made with olive oil and sea salt. Ready in minutes, they’re perfect for dipping into hummus, tzatziki, or your favorite spreads.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 pita breads (any style, Egyptian, Lebanese, or Greek)
- 2-3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt (adjust to taste)
- Optional seasonings: garlic powder, paprika, za’atar, or dried herbs
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cut the pita bread into triangles (like little pizza slices).
- Arrange them in a single layer on the baking sheet. Brush or spray lightly with olive oil on both sides.
- Sprinkle with salt (and any seasonings you love: garlic powder, paprika, or za’atar all work).
- Bake for 5–8 minutes (depending on the thickness of your pita bread), flipping halfway through, until the chips are golden and crisp.
- Let them cool for a few minutes on the tray. They’ll crisp up even more as they cool.
