Description

Indulge in the unique richness of tzatziki made with goat's milk yogurt, cucumber, garlic, and dill. Perfect as a sauce or dip.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup shredded cucumber
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt (+ a pinch)
  • 1 cup goat milk yogurt
  • 1 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 pinch black pepper
  • olive oil and fresh dill for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place the shredded cucumber in a colander, add a pinch of salt, and let sit for 5 minutes. Meanwhile, prepare the yogurt base.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the yogurt, garlic, dill, lemon zest, juice, and black pepper.
  3. Use the back of a spoon to press out excess water from shredded cucumber.
  4. Add the cucumber to the seasoned yogurt, mix, and garnish with a drizzle of olive oil and fresh dill.
  5. Enjoy right away or serve chilled.

Notes

To store tzatziki, transfer it to an airtight container and refrigerate for 3-4 days. Stir it before serving to ensure the flavors are well combined.
