Mediterranean Salad Dressing

It’s a must to serve a salad at nearly EVERY dinner in my home. My family NEEDS something sour, crunchy, and fresh alongside their favorite meals. I usually make a simple Turkish Shepards Salad because it only requires a few ingredients and hits the spot every time.
Also, I love this salad dressing because it includes aromatic Mediterranean herbs such as mint, oregano, and parsley. Furthermore, the lemons and sumac offer a lemony bite, and the garlic clove adds the depth of umami flavor that every salad dressing needs.
What is Mediterranean Dressing Made of?

- Olive oil: use fruity, cold-pressed olive oil if you can get your hands on a bottle.
- Lemon will add acidity and the lemony tang salads thrive on.
- Pomegranate Molasses is a thick, sweet, and tangy red syrup made by cooking pomegranate juice down until thick and glossy. You can find it in the Mediterranean section at your local grocer.
- Garlic, use fresh, chopped garlic. Not granulated.
- Herbs and Spices like oregano, mint, and sumac.
By the way, you can pour this salad dressing on just about anything. Try marinating it in chicken or beef too.

How to Store
Once you’ve made your dressing, place it in a mason jar with a lid. The oil and lemon juice will separate naturally. Simply give the jar a quick shake and it will be homogenized once again. Keep it up to 5 days for optimal freshness.
How to Use Mediterranean Dressing
Enjoy this dressing in so many ways.
