JAMMY Eggs

These Soft Boiled Eggs are simple to make and have fully cooked whites. You can indulge in the golden yolk by scooping and spreading it on your favorite slice of bread just like JAM!

These Jammy Eggs are delicious. I eat them AT LEAST three times a week. It’s really simple to make: boil some water, add the eggs, and cook for a few minutes, and voila, you’re set for a piece of crusty bread and a cup of coffee. Simple, but oh very gratifying.

There are various ways to enjoy eggs, such as Turkish eggs or scrambled eggs with a Mediterranean twist, but this is by far my favorite.

How Long to Boil Eggs?

To make soft, JAMMY-style eggs, cook for only 7 minutes. Every second counts.

How to Make Jammy Eggs

  1. First, bring a small pot of water to a rolling boil.
  2. Then, once the water comes to a boil, gently place the eggs into the water, cover the pot with a lid, and set the timer for 7 minutes immediately.
  3. Every second counts!
  4. When ready, turn off the heat, remove the eggs, place them into a bowl of cold water, peel them right away, and enjoy.

My favorite type of egg is a cross between jammy and apricot-style.
