Ingredients
Scale
2 stalks celery, the bottom of the celery removed, and each rib thoroughly cleaned
2 inches fresh ginger (skin on or peeled), thinly sliced (or to the desired amount)
4 cups filtered water + more as needed
2 large limes, skin, and bitter pith removed
3 large green apples, core removed, sliced
Instructions
Soak the celery ribs and thinly sliced ginger in water for at least an hour (or overnight) to help these very fibrous ingredients break down in the blender more easily. (optional)
Prep the Celery: Chop the celery into 1-inch pieces.
Blend the Ingredients: Add the chopped celery, ginger, and 4 cups of filtered water to a blender. Blend on high speed for 60 seconds. Tip: If your blender is small, process the celery and water in batches. Add the lime and apple to the blender. Blend for an additional minute.
Strain the Juice: Place a fine-mesh strainer over a large bowl. Pour the blended mixture into the strainer, pressing the pulp with the back of a spoon to extract as much juice as possible.
Enjoy Your Celery Juice: Transfer the strained juice to juice bottles, or small shot bottles, or drink it immediately as a wellness drink.
Notes
Additional Tips:
For a smoother juice, you may want to peel the ginger before blending.
Adjust the amount of water to your desired consistency.
Store the juice in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
